This is an illustration of a glass of iced tea. Its kind of lame to say this, but the original version looks way better, and the digital copy "sucks the big one," if you can imagine. But I'm still pleased with the piece.
The drawing is my first attempt at a full color marker piece. What I focused on was matching the colors, and highlights of the ice, and the liquid. One of the problems I faced, was the light I had shining on the glass caused the ice to melt super fast, so I had to sketch quickly with my pencil. Another issue I had, was that I didn't know how to accurately portray the clarity of the tea, so I didn't make an attempt that would risk screwing up the rest of the piece.
